Lock and Unlock Your Phone / Extension

Overview This feature allows you to lock your extension so it cannot be used until unlocked. It is most useful for users who have a physical IP phone and want to secure it when away — for example, at the end of the day before leaving the office.

Set Your PIN

1. Dial *00
2. Enter your new PIN when prompted.
3. Re-enter the PIN to confirm.
4. The system will confirm that your PIN has been set.

You can change your PIN at any time while your phone is unlocked.

Lock Your Extension

1. Dial *01
2. The system will play "Activated" — your extension is now locked.

Unlock Your Extension

1. Dial *02
2. Enter your PIN when prompted.
3. The system will play "Deactivated" — your extension is now unlocked.

If you enter the wrong PIN, the system will prompt you to try again.

Forgot Your PIN? Contact support to have your PIN reset.
