BTEL Voicemail email keeps prompting "This field is required"

Issue:
When configuring or modifying any end-user voicemail settings, the system displays a “This field is required” error—even when the Attach message option is set to No.

Reason:
This behavior is due to the underlying architecture of the IPPBX system and its voicemail functionality. An email address is required in the configuration, as certain voicemail features depend on it. Without an email address, some functions may not operate correctly.

Solution:
For users who do not have an email address or prefer not to receive voicemails via email, we recommend entering a generic or shared email address (e.g., your company’s support or helpdesk email). This will satisfy the system requirement while avoiding delivery to a personal inbox.
