Transfer to Mailbox

Important note: Unless you are certain you want to execute this action do not use it, if by accident you click this button the caller will be transferred back to his origin e.g. back to IVR.

A Transfer to Mailbox you do if you want the caller to leave a voicemail for the selected Extension / Agent

  1. While on the phone with caller, click the extension you want to transfer the call to, in this example transfer to Extension / Agent 8005
  2. The Destination Extension will be highlighted with a BLUE border colour
  3. Press the Icon Transfer to Mailbox button on the top toolbar
  4. The caller will be prompted to leave a voicemail for the said Extension / Agent.
